Providence St. Joseph Health Compliance Specialist, Medicare *Remote* in Renton, Washington

Providence Health Plan is calling a Compliance Specialist, Medicare who will: Be responsible for handling various aspects of regulatory compliance activities for the Medicare health plan business Evaluate new and existing state and federal laws and regulations and contracts in order to advise internal customers and advance the health plan's interests Represent the Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, and Government Affairs Department in internal implementation processes related to the health plan's legal obligations and new business initiatives Serve as an internal subject matter expert to staff and leadership at PHP regarding regulatory requirements and contractual obligations Be responsible for analysis of legal and contractual obligations, and complex regulatory reporting requirements Impact PHP's legal and regulatory obligations as well as financial obligations to Providence Health Plan customers Providence Health Plan welcomes 100% remote work for applicants who reside in one of the following States: Oregon Washington California Please note the following important detail regarding this role: This position is affiliated with Providence Health Plan and will be tied to a location and compensation range in Beaverton, Oregon Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience 4+ years of relevant health care, health insurance, regulatory compliance and or legal experience, or experience in another regulated industry 4+ years of experience in two of the following areas: Process implementation and improvement Policy and procedure development Technical or legal writing Written customer communications Preferred qualifications for this position include: 2+ years of experience analyzing legal and contractual obligations, and complex regulatory reporting requirements Part D Compliance Medicare Experience Why Join Providence Health Plan?
