About the Role
The Project Manager is responsible for handling multiple projects within Enterprise applications and Infrastructure. Developing and managing all aspects of the project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues, full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously and manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Prepare schedule estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and moderate the project management team meeting
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork and innovation
Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how the IT solutions will address business goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
Act as liaison between IT and Business IT staff and leadership
Understand project technical requirements and solutions to manage scope and project effectively
Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution
Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders
Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders
Deliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication
Monitor staff performance and complete performance reviews when required
Coach, the mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Assist with facilitating communications, scheduling, business requirements/gap analysis, and testing.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in IT project management, especially larger IT projects with established firms
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
PMP preferred.
Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
Facilitation skills to run workshops and meetings to gain agreement on requirements and issues.
Proficiency with related software tools including but not limited to MS Project, JIRA, MS Excel, etc.
