Aston Carter Contracts Administrator in Redmond, Washington

Description:

Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions

Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts

Support / lead business negotiations with academic institutions, and government agencies, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for research collaboration, material transfer, and intellectual property license agreements, and other types of agreements in support of Inventprise projects and vaccine programs

Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress

Perform diligence, and negotiate agreements then maintain cost-efficient partnerships with laboratories, external contractors, and service providers to ensure Inventprise vaccine technologies and services remain affordable and globally accessible.

Support / lead business negotiations with academic institutions, and government agencies, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for research collaboration, material transfer, and intellectual property license agreements, and other types of agreements in support of Inventprise projects and vaccine programs.

Collaborate with project management to identify, understand, and ensure mechanisms are in place to manage projects between Inventprise and collaborators (e.g., partnership strategy, operating model, processes, relative program prioritization, risk tolerance and other program governance)

Work effectively with program team members, legal counsel, and external partners to meet project objectives including Managing assessments of intellectual property issues involving vaccine and other technologies developed by research and development or external partners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

5 8 years’ experience in managing contracts or subcontracts with a focus on negotiations of provisions to include terms and conditions

Ability to analyze and evaluate proposals

Working knowledge of standard contract types

Ability to work in fast-paced, multifaceted environment

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered

Formal education/ knowledge of legal /paralegal activities

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
