Eaton Corporation Analyst - Cash Application in PUNE, India

This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • This role is in Accounts Receivable Process in a fast paced, high volume SSC environment that supports Eaton’s global business and operations that use SAP and Oracle application for financial accounting and reporting. The position is responsible for Customer Master Data. Accountable for customer master profile management processes and master data governance. Partner with key stakeholders and users to understand current and future business needs, identify business process changes and opportunities for improvement.

  • Deductions – Correctly analyzes deductions, and reports and accounts for customer deductions after ensuring compliance with company’s policies

  • Creation of Noted Item in SAP once a debit note is received in mailbox

    Analysis of the New case in Getpaid (Noted item gets interfaced to Getpaid the next day)

    Analysis of deductions posted by Cash application team

    Working on distributed, approved credit and customer further info queue in Getpaid.

    Creation of credit memos in SAP

  • Ensure Plant requests and queries are dealt with in a prompt and comprehensive manner and in line with SLA’s

  • Support and deliver all agreed month end activities to ensure process governance and accuracy of results reported for all GFSS ledgers.

  • Drives process improvements and simplification initiatives

  • Eligible volumes to be routed and processed only via RPA BOT. Individual should have dive deep attitude to investigate and highlight Data Errors and inform IT for further investigation on BOT errors.

  • Strong understanding of data warehouse and master data architecture and processes. Vendor management skills to enforce SLAs based on data quality performance, operating model experience (shared service & CoE)

  • Gathers data for potential process improvements and support audit (internal/external) requirement.

  • Excellent MS Office skills including PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills, ability to interface with senior leadership and translate technical information into business relevant information

  • Process oriented – Ability to think in terms of process and improvement

  • Trains team member(s) on primary functions/processes

  • Perform query management/resolution/root cause mitigation on all CMF queries and provide recommendations on how to mitigate future issues and improve overall customer service

  • Strong focus on internal controls and company’s accounting policies

  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, both internal & external. Ensure professional and appropriate communications

  • Excellent work ethic and extremely detail oriented with high energy level, motivation, and enthusiasm. Know and comply with Eaton policies: Global Ethics, Values and Philosophy,

  • Management Environmental Safety and Security and Health (MESH).

  • Other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company.

    Qualifications

Requirement:

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited institution required.

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in Accounts receivable domain

  • Shared Service/Customer service industry experience essential, preferably captive shared service experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of AR processes and related financial processes.

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills; collaborative approach with peers and team members

  • Ability to work within a team environment

  • Efficient with MS Office skills including Powerpoint and Excel

  • ERP knowledge preferably SAP

  • Aware of Salesforce (Case Management Tool

  • Sound MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word) required

  • Good Accounting knowledge

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Structured approach to problem solving and issue resolution

  • Ability to apply accounting system expertise to troubleshoot financial system problems, resolve customer issues and implement new solutions.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.

  • Highly motivated self-starter who can work well in a team environment or independently.
