This role will be responsible for the day-to-day system support for the Strategy and Business Development organization including data sharing, IT change management, training, and SharePoint. This role will also be responsible for managing the BD mailboxes and facilitating the triage process with Search and Evaluation. This role will work closely with the Director and Associate Director of SBD Capabilities to lead minor system and process improvements and supporting large-scale digital innovation initiatives.
This position requires an aptitude for learning new systems and tools and a passion for problem solving. The ideal candidate will possess strong project and portfolio management skills, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders to understand the business needs and provide process and system recommendations.
Provides day-to-day systems support and access (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint, data rooms)
Manages BD incoming mailbox and triage processes to ensure timely feedback to partners
Helps team collaborate effectively by providing resources ad trainings on BMS and SBD tools
Proactively identifies IT and enterprise changes, understands the impact to SBD organization, and implements change management and trainings as needed
Take initiative to drive efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement through the identification of new capability needs and system enhancements
Creates reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders strategic insights and understand their current book of work
Manage and implement data monitoring process for key systems to ensure accuracy and integrity required strategic reporting
Refreshes templates (presentations, org charts, etc.) to help teams streamline content creation
Supports external events lead in the planning and execution of flagship conferences
Qualifications & Experience
BA/BS degree required
3 years minimum of relevant experience (capabilities and system development, R&D or business development, project management, operations, IT support,)
Knowledge of drug discovery, development, and commercialization strongly desired
Highly organized and motivated individual possessing strong communication, written, and analytical skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain operational excellence within a high-volume workload
Eagerness to take initiative and continually seek new opportunities for improvement across the BD process
Ability to demonstrate an aptitude to quickly learn new business process and tools to be able to train others
Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to the changing needs of the organization
Confidence to communicate across high level stake holders internally and externally
Strong project management experience required
Experience with business applications (SharePoint, Salesforce, Microsoft suite (PPT, excel, One Drive, Teams, One Note) a plus
