The purpose of this position is to set up, prepare, and mill materials that meet quality specifications for use in production areas. Work closely with Production Leads to ensure consistent and efficient operation of equipment to meet daily safety, quality, and production goals. Report to work on each scheduled day and assist with training or other duties assigned by Supervisor as needed.


  • Effectively communicate problems to other operators, Quality Control, and other technical resources and provide input to help make jobs run more efficiently.

  • Accurate documentation including QAD transactions.

  • Accurately follow documented procedures.

  • Accurate recording of information.

  • Cleaning mill, work surfaces, and other equipment between jobs.

  • Barwelling material.

  • Work in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.

  • Other jobs assigned by supervisor.

  • Setup materials accurately weighing and verifying components.

    Qualifications and Physical Demands:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to read decimals and fractions and be proficient in conversions (grams to lbs., inches to feet, etc.)

  • Physical demands include walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling of objects, lifting and moving objects (weighing up to 40 lbs.). Stand for up to 12 hours per day.

  • Strong team player

    The 5th Shift schedule runs for 12 hours, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 11pm and two 8 hour shifts during the week.
