We are seeking a highly motivated and hardworking teammate to take initiative and ownership of key projects related to building and managing a best-in-class and scalable global Ethics & Compliance program. You will be joining Splunk’s growing Compliance, Employment & Risk team and will be integral to helping grow and scale the Legal department, and in turn, will have an amazing opportunity to develop professionally. This position can be remote and will report to Sr. Director, Ethics & Compliance Counsel.
This position will support our Ethics & Compliance function, with a primary focus on advancing a best-in-class global E&C program. They will lead program management in support of all aspects of our global E&C activities related to:1) written policies, procedures, and guidelines; 2) training; 3) assessment and monitoring; 4) tracking and reporting on compliance; and 5) continuous improvement.

Develop and lead the implementation of processes and automated tools to facilitate the development of E&C internal controls in 15+ Compliance Areas.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and business leaders in drafting policies and procedures documents.
Oversee implementation, management, and maintenance of Document Management System, including quarterly reporting to CECO and management team on the status of E&C documentation.
Coordinate with the Communications Team to develop and deliver targeted and innovative E&C messaging for the global workforce.
Implement E&C Program communications strategy, including content development for quarterly global E&C Council and Board meetings.
Plan and implement, in coordination with the E&C leadership team and CALs, Annual E&C Compliance Week.
Collaborate to build and deliver tailored E&C training to a global audience.
Project Management of Code of Conduct update, including content changes and communications strategies and roll-out.
Partner with Legal Ops to develop, roll-out, track and report on Annual Code of Conduct Training
Design and implement tracking and dashboard reporting on E&C program to provide insights on effectiveness and risk; includes tracking internal control inventories, 3-yr plans, monitoring and investigations across 15+ regulatory areas as well as metrics for team objectives and achievements. Lead development of reports for quarterly meetings of 3 E&C Business Leaders Councils (Global, EMEA, and APAC) and Executive Sponsors.
Coordinate Audit on audits of E&C Program Compliance Areas
Assist in the development of innovative ways to measure E&C program activity to measure compliance program effectiveness and report out on progress.
Main Point of coordination with ERM team in planning and execution of annual ERM process related to E&C Program. Develop and build strong cross-functional relationships in order to assess and anticipate emerging risk areas across the company.
Program management of third-party due diligence, including upleveling scope and coverage.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
8+ years of experience focused on ethics and compliance.
Demonstrable program and project management skills.
Extensive experience in creation and governance of compliance documentation and processes and analyzing and reporting related to E&C.
Experience conducting due diligence reviews of third parties, including channel partners.
Strong experience developing global compliance training programs.
Experience working with Internal Audit and ERM teams.
Strong work ethic and ability to juggle numerous matters at once and produce high-quality work under tight deadlines;
Ability to work effectively in a global environment and sensitivity to and an understanding of cultural differences around the globe;
Willingness to take on additional tasks and projects outside of core areas of expertise;
Organized and methodical approach to projects;
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
