The Director of Sales is responsible for total room, banquet, catering, and room rental revenue streams, yield strategies, implementation and accountable to market performance and meeting budget, forecast, and optimal business mix targets. Position requires extensive interaction and coordination with Hotel’s General Manager, revenue management, executive team members and regional/corporate personnel. Additional responsibilities may include hiring of staff, training, managing and coaching.

The individual will also work closely with the RVP of Sales and Marketing, General Manager, corporate staff, ownership and other disciplines to ensure appropriate brand building and asset growth focusing on the following:

  • Establishes and delivers on Brand Personality and Brand Promise

  • Overall responsibility for total revenue and yield strategies

  • Accountable to market performance and potential performance as well as budget, forecast, and target goals

  • Hands on leadership of team

  • Activity participates in community relations

  • Learn and work with the Cambria brand

  • A minimum of 3 years hotel Sales experience.

  • Market experience preferred

  • Opening experience highly desired

  • Hotel experience required
