The Inventory counter-position is responsible for executing pre-defined inventory counts using an RF handheld device for entering counts. As part of the Inventory Control team, this position works closely with both the Inventory Specialist and warehouse leadership executing counts and identifying possible sources of variance.
Hourly rate - $14.50/hour

Complete inventory counts per company standards and improves inventory handling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain our culture of ?Safety First?
Accurately input counts into a handheld RF unit and validates item information following specific instructions.
Problem-solve issues to uncover underlying issues within the warehouse operation that drive variances.
In addition to executing pre-defined counts, the inventory count will also audit pallets prior to them being shipped to the customer for sale.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly convey information.
The employee will be required to operate powered industrial equipment to include: Stock-picker, Scissor lift, and Forklift.
Be at least 18 years of age or older

Ability to read code dates proficiently
Frequently required to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
Must have reliable transportation

Previous beverage industry/warehouse experience helpful, but not necessary

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must carry an OSHA certification to operate machinery. We OSHA certify all our own employees.
