Job Purpose:

The Graphic Designer will work with the marketing team to ensure digital, print, email, and promotional item content is aligned with company goals. This is a fully in-office position and a portfolio must be provided during the interview  process. 

 

Essential Job Functions

• Ensure a cohesive and consistent visual brand standard that aligns across all projects and channels for each brand  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs and WordPress experience a plus  • Actively stay informed of current design best practices and industry trends  • Creates and implements external facing social media content across all platforms for each brand  • Takes high quality photographs for all brands to be used for both print and online  • Works with the HR department to create employee facing materials such as flyers, brochures, promo items, email campaigns  • Assists others within the company with a multitude of projects that advance the promotion of Foothills and its affiliates  • Additional duties as assigned 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills dealing with a diverse range of people  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing  • Excellent time management and execution skills  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office programs • Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative and independent judgment in solving problems  • Ability to maintain high productivity amid competing priorities and tight deadlines  • Ability to adapt and be flexible with learning new technologies • Email marketing design in CRM programs a plus • Photography and video editing experience a plus

 

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent major  • At least 2 years of graphic design experience at a company or agency level 

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional work environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners and photocopiers.
