Position Description :
The Materials Service Partners is responsible supporting the Perioperative Services Department by supporting in the setting-up and stocking of the Operating Rooms for surgical procedures being performed throughout the day. Primary responsibilities of the Materials Service Partners will be inventory and order replenishment of non-stock inventory items assigned to them throughout various surgical areas, picking of supplies for all OR cases scheduled for next day procedures, communicating to materials management critical shortages of items stocked by materials management and submitting requests to order those items and additional stock items that are needed. The Materials Service Partners will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of surgical case carts to designated surgical areas/Operating Rooms and to designated Central Processing locations following procedures for decontamination.
Minimum Requirements :
High school diploma or GED required. CPR required.
