Prognos Agile Practitioner in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This position can be based remotely in the continental United States

Prognos is a NYC-based healthcare startup whose mission is to improve health by driving the best actions learned from the world's data. In order to achieve this goal we have curated the world’s largest clinical lab dataset, covering over 300M+ patients in the U.S., and are currently deploying cutting-edge technology for predicting disease at the earliest possible time.

The mission of the Technology team at Prognos is to develop, deploy and maintain the analytic and machine learning pipelines within Prognos’ products, addressing business-relevant problems in close collaboration with our Product and Clinical teams.

We are looking for an experienced, well rounded agile practitioner (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) to join the team, and help us move the mission-critical tasks forward. We want to improve our continuous improvement practices, help the teams stay focused, map and shape work.

Who You Are

  • Are you good at helping people articulate their problems?

  • Can you figure out what teams and internal customers are struggling to do, map that to technical expertise, then shape a team that can implement?

  • You must be experienced in implementing Agile in complex, fast moving, environments and coaching teams from the emergent level of agile awareness to a team that is able to follow the agile principles consistently across initiatives.

  • You will be able to provide disciplined process and bring teams quickly through to maturity to self-sufficient teams.

    Education, Experience and Skills

  • 5 years of agile experience (or tell us why your experience matters).

  • If you have an advanced degree that’s cool, if you don’t that’s fine

  • Top-notch communication and problem-solving skills

  • Experience mentoring/teaching developers

  • Experience pair programming

  • Remote work experience
