Job Description

Condition Monitoring Advisors (CMAs) will monitor the elements of fluid analysis, equipment inspections, electronic data, repair history, and site conditions to provide relevant recommendations as indicated by the data. These recommendations will improve customer loyalty, increase enterprise market share, and grow parts and service sales while reducing the customer's costs through equipment management efficiency.

Job Duties

  • Aggregates and correlates data inputs for the five elements of condition monitoring.

  • Functions as a subject matter expert for the five elements of condition monitoring.

  • Uses enabling software tools & systems to prioritize and analyze condition monitoring data inputs.

  • Provides equipment recommendations to Caterpillar dealers and customers.

  • Extracts, or is provided data from the appropriate business systems including customer, dealer, and contractor sources.

  • Prepares standard reports of recommendations for customers and their Caterpillar dealers.

  • Facilitates ongoing key performance indicator (KPI) review meetings with customers, Caterpillar dealers, and other stakeholders as required.

  • Builds collaborative relationships across the enterprise.

  • Fosters a team environment and works with diverse groups of customers and business partners.

  • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to resolve issues either individually or through appropriate team collaboration.

  • Provides Condition Monitoring Services for up to 350 assets or more as business needs require.

Basic qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline OR equivalent experience.

8-10 years of experience in mining product support and/or engineering fields.

Top Candidate will also have

Experience working with multiple Caterpillar Product Groups.

Direct customer-facing experience.

Previous experience with Caterpillar systems including ECA, SIS, Cat SOS, and Cat Inspect.

Previous experience analyzing Product Link and VIMS data.

Working knowledge of engines, power train, hydraulic systems, and reliability centered maintenance / PM planning.

Additional Information

The location for this position is Tucson AZ or Peoria, IL.

Relocation is not offered for this position.

This position may require 25% travel.
