THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission is seeking an experienced, dependable and highly motivated office support professional to serve with the Division of Licensing and Registration located in Harrisburg, PA.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position provides clerical and office support within the Division of Licensing and Registration to ensure daily operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. The person in this position is responsible for staffing the Division’s front desk, answering incoming phone calls from customers, and providing customer support assistance pertaining to boat registrations, renewals, launch permits, and fishing licenses. The person in this position will also assist in entering boat registration and title data in the registration and titling system.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.

  • Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or

  • Graduation from high school; or

  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

    Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
