THE POSITION

The Department of Corrections, State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill is seeking someone with your experience who is ready to make a difference! We are looking for a Corrections Stock Clerk to assist and manage inmates as they learn skills to prepare them for future opportunities. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Corrections Stock Clerk for the Department of Corrections, you will handle the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies for the institution. You will be responsible for inventorying stock and receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and raw materials. Additionally, will be training and monitoring inmate workers in the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies. Also, you will be preparing routine reports and operating motor vehicles, fork lifts, or hand trucks to move oversized or heavy items, remove scrap materials, or make deliveries.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania is required.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.

You must pass a background investigation.
