BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. Grant Analyst in Pennsauken, New Jersey

POSITION SUMMARY: The position provides financial and compliance oversight to donations and grants received by BAYADA. The position will support pre and post grant activities, which include research, application, accounting, and analysis. This position will develop in depth knowledge of various federal, state, local, and private programs providing consultation and support to the various businesses within BAYADA. The position is responsible for understanding and supporting audit and compliance requirements under the various programs. The position is responsible for reporting and analyzing receipt and spend of various grant programs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence and reliability Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Finance Two (2) to Five (5) years public accounting or related industry experience Prior not-for-profit experience is a plus Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) applications and ability to learn various software applications (i.e. Workday) Strong understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of US GAAP Ability to manage multiple assignments and processes Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates and communicate the core values of BAYADA Home Health Care and The BAYADA Way Research and maintain reporting and compliance requirements of potential grant opportunities Support discovery of new grant opportunities administered by Federal, State, Local, and Private Payers Review budgets for various grant programs assisting in complete capture of costs and assumptions Assist with cost/benefit analysis of various grant programs Support grant application process, including compilation of documentation and related analysis Assist in development and maintenance of processes for tracking grant receipt and usage activity Maintain accounting records by recording journals and performing reconciliation of grant fund balances Provide analysis over receipt and usage activity of various grant programs Support reporting requirements of various programs ensuring compliance with various deadlines Support audit efforts of various grants under Single Audit requirements and other audits by third parties Provide consultation to business leaders regarding usage of grant funding Remain current on new guidance related to government grant reporting requirements and compliance standards Prepare summary of grant and donation efforts uses in communication to management and board of trustees #LI-Office1 #JoinBayada-RX #LIRX As an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider, BAYADA complies with all state/local mandates.
