Chemours Administrative Business Analyst in Parkersburg, West Virginia

Chemours is seeking an Administrative Business Analyst to join our team! This position will report directly to the* Plant Manager* in our Parkersburg, WV location.

The Administrative Business Analyst role oversees developing data structures, gathering information, analyzing data, and suggesting/developing improvements that will benefit our overall organization. From employee productivity to process safety and financial processes, they should have their eyes and ears on all aspects of our business. Analysts need to be comfortable interacting with different sources to procure the right data and working with department heads to understand their day-to-day responsibilities. Analysts need to implement changes; they will need working knowledge of how their organization functions.

*The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: *

  • Gathering all relevant data from department heads, subject matter experts, and stakeholders

  • Creation of Data Structures and Databases and constant improvement and simplification of these resources.

  • Creation of Standard Communication Documents for the Organization

  • Contributing as a member of a team and maintaining a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of the job

  • Analyzing data using standard formulas and software

  • Working with stakeholder team to understand individual concerns

  • Identifying trends in data and forecasting new developments based on current patterns

  • Devising solutions to improve business processes and increase efficiency

  • Presenting solutions to leaders (using data analysis to justify recommendations)

  • Conferring with department heads to ensure that everyone understands directives

  • Teaching tools and software to the Operating Team.

  • Performing Administrative Assistant activities for the Plant Manager.

In order to be qualified for this role, you /must possess/ the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills. Proficiency with common analyst software (include MS Office Suite)

  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, math, and technical skills. Demonstrated problem solving skills.

  • Previous experience with identifying trends, forecasting future trends.

  • Ability to work self-guided while at the same time work effectively in a collaborative structure with personnel throughout every level of the company. Ability to communicate and present formal and informal information to stakeholders effectively.

The following skill sets are /preferred/ by the business unit:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business

  • Strong samples of financial and trend analysis reports

  • Green Belt Certification/Demonstrated SAP Skills

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with the ability to multitask and manage details. Outstanding thoroughness, attention to detail, and accuracy in work product
