Visual Merchandising Development and Production Manager - EMEA (H/F)

Lead for execution of new launch and permanent merchandising items to the global marketplace within the constraints: design specifications/budget, quality, logistics constraints, deadlines of technical development and time to market, including management of requests for quotations, prices analysis, negotiations with suppliers, and shopping carts validations.

Based on brands’ requirement and marketing objectives, ensure manufacturability of high quality production standards while working with IP team on vendors’ efficiency.

Participate to the innovation process, reporting to the merchandising technical development MANAGER.


Provide manager with a weekly activity report and alert on critical issues (lead time, quality, prices…) and next steps.

Communicate and alert on projects’ progresses, with all the Services involved (Project Management, Indirect Procurement, Graphic Production, Shipping Department...)

Fulfil the Project Tracker on time with required and appropriated data.

Formalize briefs to the pre-selected suppliers within the short-list vendors validated in collaboration with the Indirect Procurement Department, and according to Indirect Procurement policies.

Provide clear direction and make recommendations based on cost target, quality/aesthetic needs, and technical requirements and manufacturing processes to satisfy Brands’ requirements.

After-Sale issues: provide technical support and analysis and propose and follow-up action plan accordingly, both development-wise and purchasing-wise. (credit note management)

Provide technical support to Indirect Procurement Department for specific call for tenders leaded by this department (specifications, technical guidance…).

Support potential new suppliers’ integration in order for them to clearly understand our processes, the expected quality and to have competitive prices.

Develop tactical plans / new ways and methods of working, when necessary.

Motivate and lead collaborative behaviour within the organization

Ensure optimization of work tools and processes


Communication / teamwork :

Resolve all timeline issues until “ready-for-shipment” date and negotiate with appropriate departments and develop tactical plans/ new ways /methods of working, when necessary

Provide technical guidance as necessary to the Project Management team

Provide manager with a weekly activity report. Also notifying management of critical issues and next steps

Required qualifications :

Good understanding of the graphic chain and printing processes.

Materials and properties (plastic, glass, metal, paper…)

How to read a technical drawing, and make modifications if necessary.

Process of plastic injection, and CNC machining. Their strengths and weaknesses.

Ability to bring initiative and anticipation in the guidance of the projects

Very good Knowledge of Microsoft Pack Office.

Knowledge of engineering dawing software would be a plus.

Proactive, organzed and detail oriented.

Ability to work under tight deadlines.
