The SAP S/4HANA COE Evangelist for Public Cloud, evangelizes and engages customers, internal stakeholders, and the partner ecosystem, driving key change management activities focused on demand generation and pipeline qualification excellence to ensure successful opportunities, customer references, and increased revenues aligned to the Public Cloud target customer profile.

To act as the digital transformation navigator and trusted advisor for C-Level executives and Functional business leaders by enabling them to Re-Imagine their existing businesses as Digital. Enrolling them in a case for change for a digital future with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud as the Digital Core at its heart. Leveraging the Differentiated Business Processes that exist within the S/4HANA Platform and the SAP Cloud solutions to help CxOs recognize, create, and invest in specific digital transformation pathways/journeys that have immediate value for their existing business models and also innovative added value as far as the creation of new digital business capabilities and services (e.g., to support growth and future strategy). Evangelize and engage internal stakeholders, partners, and developer ecosystem on behalf of the CxO customer in ways of leveraging SAP S/4HANA to best all-round advantage.


  • Act as an Executive Advocate for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud deals and help the Industry Account Executives and extended VAT teams successfully drive the sales cycles

  • Create a favorable climate towards SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, that creates trust and measurably shortens deal times

  • Champion a progressive scalable and reusable selling and deployment approach to drive the adoption of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud that promotes confidence, uptake and increases consumption

  • Attain trusted advisory status with SAP sales leadership by providing actionable insight and a programmatic approach to moving customers to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

  • Seek out and build viable relationships with Net New Names

  • Collaborate with the global Public Cloud Tiger Team to identify whitespace opportunities at accounts to define the account strategy and identify business needs & incremental opportunities

  • Foster a strong conduit between the VAT team / customer accounts and development on key LoB / industry functionality needs

  • Participate in one-to-many marketing events for specific industries or solution areas

  • Deliver business workshops to discover and identify business needs

  • Stays current on solution updates and roadmap topics

  • Maintain a close understanding and appreciation of competitive solutions

  • Contribute to go-to-market plan for solutions, drive adoption and review solution success & analysis of customer insight

  • Sponsor customer digital programs that create proof points, re-usable IP, references, and case studies

  • Contribute to the creation of a customer focused, digitally savvy, and progressive problem-solving culture

  • Create and present thought leadership pieces


  • Contribute to increased references / customer stories & renewals for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

  • Drive pipeline and contribute to budgeted revenue attainment for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

  • Increase target profile (e.g., Mid-Market, Professional Services, Public Sector) net new names adoption of SAP S/4HANA (Public) Cloud

  • Evangelize our RISE with SAP Value Proposition both internally and externally

  • Contribute to a culture the exemplifies our how we run culture (Build Bridges not Silos, Embrace Differences, Stay Curious, and Tell it Like it Is)

Experience (Role Requirements)

  • 5 years experience in Pre-sales, Solution Management or Consulting, or related areas preferred

  • 5 years experience of SAP ERP, S/4HANA preferably S/4HANA Public Cloud

  • Public cloud mindset ideally with experience in selling and/or positioning public cloud solutions

  • Ability to influence

  • Change agent (move to business outcome based selling motion, sell to the business not IT)

  • Lead without authority

  • End to end business process knowledge

  • Sharing best practices

  • Contribute to account strategy / development of sales cycle

  • Strong presentation skills
