Role Summary
The Change Portfolio P roject M anager role is responsible for supporting the Change Portfolio Director in providing visibility and governance across the enterprise change portfolio. Assist in constructing views, analysis, and metrics of the firmwide change execution portfolio to enable decision-making at governance forums. This includes articulation of portfolio health, material changes, escalation of risks, impediments and/or decisions to executive leadership for resolution. Manages the timeline and creation of deliverables for governance forums . Develops communications plan and works closely with Change Portfolio Director, Transformation Office Program Portfolio Manager and Strategy Realization Offic e in preparation s for governance meetings .
Supports the enterprise-wide Demand Management Process ensuring new initiatives follow the intake process and are scoped, prioritized, resourced appropriately, and approved by appropriate governing body. Facilitates requests through the demand management process to ensure timely actions and approvals . Develops and communicates demand management approvals, including availability of resources and budget prior to execution begins.
Responsibilities:
Works closely with Change Portfolio Direction and extended stakeholders to effectively plan and monitor the portfolio. Trains and coaches portfolio teams in execution methodologies and promotes adoption of best practices. Ensures change portfolio delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards; develops standards in collaboration with management.
Engages other colleagues/resources and assigns appropriate responsibilities to support achievement of project plan(s). Independently applies knowledge of advanced methodologies, selecting and applying project management tools to conduct analyses, reporting, and related activities for assigned projects.
Builds and synthesizes portfolio analysis and insights, budgeting and forecasting models, or enterprise-wide resource plans requiring significant stakeholder management skills and interpretation of diverse and varied information.
Works with stakeholders to m easure and monitor program portfolio costs and benefits, including actual results and forecasts with comparisons to original or baseline plan and updates plans with accurate , up-to-date information in a timely manner . Follows financial standards and processes. Reports portfolio status to the required executive level. Monitors change portfolio results for significant deviations, evaluates options, and takes corrective actions.
Engages other colleagues/resources and assigns appropriate responsibilities to support achievement of portfolio objectives . Independently applies expert, specialized knowledge of advanced methodologies, selecting and applying tools to conduct analyses, reporting, and related activities for the change portfolio. Contributes to the development of internal protocols and processes used to carry out program portfolio management work, often recommending innovative ideas. Provides oversight to workstream/task leads; resolves any escalated portfolio risks, issues, and dependencies.
Serves as the end-to-end project lead for large-scale, complex projects that are either standalone projects or part of a broader strategic program. Drives benefit achievement by leading project initiation, planning, and solution design and build and by measuring key performance indicators and solution adoption.
Responsible for project management activities, including contingency/dependency tracking, status reporting, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, and internal/external stakeholder management. Provides oversight to workstream/task leads within the project; resolves any escalated project risks, issues, and dependencies. Manages the overall scope and timing of the project, ensuring business value is delivered on time and within budget.
Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the portfolio. Coordinates resources across organizational boundaries. Trains and coaches project teams in execution methodologies and promotes adoption of best practices. Ensures portfolio delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards; develops standards in collaboration with management. Considered an expert in this space.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND -8+ years of total relevant work experience and 2+ years of management experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders across the organization.
Methodical, organized individual with proven experience in change management, process improvement, project management, product management and user-centered design principles.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decisions.
Holds team members accountable to deliver on strategic goals and meet client needs.
Creates forums to facilitate open, constructive dialogue within stakeholders .

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
