Role will support classified and unclassified programs within the C6ISR division of Rotary and Mission Systems Business Unit. Candidates need will need to have or be able to acquire a Secret clearance level to support core programs. As a result of the clearance requirements, candidates need to be able to succeed with minimal supervision and direction. Candidates should possess ability to proactively lead tactical and strategic aspects of the contracting process from RFP crafting to contract closeout, and will be required to demonstrate the ability to:

- negotiate, coordinate, extend, terminate, and renegotiate standard and nonstandard contracts;

- evaluate contract performance to resolve necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations;

- maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties;

- ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiation; and

- may plan and participate in training of contract practices and negotiations to company personnel.

This role will require on-site support and occasional remote work options will be driven by program/business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

Experienced Contracts Professional, with experience with various U.S. Government contracting commands.

FAR / DFARS knowledge.

Excellent communication and customer skills Demonstrated problem-solving experience and ability to work under tight-deadlines and pressure.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with functional and program counterparts to drive business results.

Microsoft Office and ECE knowledge

Ability to obtain a secret clearance (requires US Citizenship)

Desired Skills:

Navy Contracting experience

Experience working SAP programs

OTA capture and administration experience

Professional certifications, such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager
