The Support Offerings, GTM & IP Management Team part of Microsoft Customer Experience and Success , is a rapidly growing global business made up of exceptional people who deliver world class services, earning customer confidence, trust, and loyalty. We focus on accelerating customer value for Microsoft solutions while building a differentiated customer experience.
The Support Go-to-Market Strategy team is responsible for defining the customer value prop working in partnership with the Support Offerings team, developing tools to equip our field teams for customer conversations, creating memorable storytelling and impactful customer stories, and developing demand generation initiatives that are aligned with our offerings strategy and sales motions.
We’re looking for a great storyteller to continue evolving the Microsoft Support value proposition, develop its narrative and articulate it through internal and external channels - as well as through leading a community of sales and marketing professions around the world.
This role requires proven storytelling expertise, strategic thinking, business acumen, a passion for our customers, and outstanding leadership and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Key responsibilities include:
Identify optimal feedback mechanisms to surface key insights and incorporate them in the overall GTM approach. Understand dependencies and business requirements from diverse stakeholders.
Embody Microsoft’s leadership principles to create clarity, generate energy and deliver success.
Be a steward of our global field community. Lead a broad v-team to drive execution via Support and associated Microsoft (BG/M&O) GTM engines. Drive the transfer of knowledge and skills between and within Corp/Field teams to encourage a learning culture and infuse a strong Diversity & Inclusion approach everywhere.
Lead our Support GTM Demand Engine governance and field enablement through impactful, high-quality readiness materials. Lead a broad v-team to drive execution via our associated Support Matters
Holistically own execution and drive future evolution of our key readiness engine Support Matters . Measure and drive associated usage plans to drive adoption for target field roles.
Collaborate with up/downstream partner teams on content alignment.
Collaborate deeply across multiple teams and disciplines to drive field-facing initiatives.
Proven field marketing, technical B2B product marketing or related experience
Excellent business analysis, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to thrive in collaborative, cross-functional team environments to gain followership
Ability to be articulate, to think strategically and in a structured manner, and to land data-driven recommendations with business partners at a senior executive level
Ability to successfully resolve ambiguous or potential conflict situations and drive alignment
Passionate about building new projects and processes within a fast-paced environment, while changing the way customers perceive our brand and products
Location/Travel: Depending on working hours, work from home arrangements are available. Routine travel and international travel in support of projects and organizational alignment will be occasional up to 25% contingent upon Covid 19 travel restrictions.
Work Hours: This opportunity requires collaboration with worldwide stakeholders. Working on flexible business hours to connect with global stakeholders will be required to perform duties as outlined. Schedules will be flexible to support work-life balance and specific project/program needs.
