Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

The Senior Web Applications Engineer will be responsible for developing SaaS platform and applications in Oracle's Health Sciences Global Business Unit (HSGBU). This person will work independently and perform at a senior level to help build out our technology platform using technologies like Ruby on Rails, Node.js and Angular.js and Java.
You’ll work with a rock star engineering team that’s passionate about building the first study startup platform of its kind for our pharmaceutical clients. You must be willing to collaborate and help others on the team as necessary, and be a solid team player. This position is an individual contributor (no direct reports).
What you'll do...
Advance the state of the art in building SaaS product with Ruby on Rails, Node.js and AngularJS.
Full stack development of SaaS enterprise applications, which streamline workflow processes in an important industry.
Work with other top-notch engineers, PMs and QA specialists.
Operate as a member of the HSGBU goBalto agile development team.
Skills you have…
Minimum of 5 years experience
Full-stack development experience
Multiple years of experience with technologies like Ruby on Rails, Node.js and AngularJS and Java.
Strong data modeling and SQL skills.
Proven experience with unit testing and test frameworks.
Git or similar distributed SCM tools.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrable expertise and recent experience with the following is a plus:
Enterprise SaaS architectures
Familiarity with cloud-based deployments
Reporting and analytics
