Description: Lockheed Martin (LM) is seeking a Subcontract Manager for a position in Orlando, FL. This candidate will be responsible for managing major subcontracts supporting the Rotary Wing Sensors programs - Apache & Longbow. As part of a fast-paced environment, the candidate will be responsible for:

Issuing subcontracts / purchase orders

Managing supplier cost, schedule, technical and quality performance through an Integrated Product Team (IPT) structure.

Working with Program Management and other functions to communicate supplier status and resolve issues.

Implementing multi-year agreements with suppliers supporting both production and sustainment prime contracts.

This candidate will work with external suppliers and internal functions, have visibility with senior leadership and some travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Detail and teamwork oriented with demonstrated organizational skills

Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions

Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentations)

Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desired Skills:

Experience with US Government acquisitions and working knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements

Demonstrated negotiation skills

Experience managing subcontracts

Experience working in cross-functional supplier IPT's

Experience with LM P2P / SAP

Green Belt Certified
