Lockheed Martin Software Engineer/ DevOps/ Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin is looking for a software datacenter engineer who wants to develop the next generation of cyber security technologies for the latest Intel x86 processors. Applicants should be well-versed in datacenter automation using OpenStack and should be able to validate into a continuous integration / deployment environment. Top candidates will gain experience working with leading edge security product Intel Hardened Security.

Basic Qualifications:

Cloud Automation using Ansible Charms and JuJu or RedHat Tower Ansible

Experience with Agile software development (DevOps)

Intel Multi-core CPU with multithreaded, reentrant coding experience

OpenStack configuration and deployment (traditional and/or hyperconverged)

Proficient in C language for development of Linux kernel and device drivers

Proficient with Bash, Python YAML and JSON

Software configuration management, Gitlab

Desired Skills:

It is desired that the candidate has experience with, or knowledge of, one or more skills below:

OpenStack automation with Chef, Puppet and/or Foreman

Cluster experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift

Containerization developer Docker and/or LXC

Creation of cloud ready images and QCOW virtual images

Linux Red Hat Enterprise RHEL and/or Canonical Ubuntu

OpenStack development experience with core component such as NOVA, Horizon, Cinder, CEPH

OpenStack validation experience using Rally and Tempest

Web Development experience with Java Script, React and/or Django
