Kforce Data Engineer in Orlando, Florida

Kforce has a client located in Orlando, FL is looking for a Data Engineer.Responsibilities of the Data Engineer: * The Data Engineer examines identifies project risks and impediments, proactively works with other members of the team to complete task as defined by project scope, timeline and budgets * They will identify or suggest ways to improve systems and database designs * This Data Engineer role requires collaborating with tech lead and architecture for automating processes and schema enhancements * As a Data Engineer, you will suit people who like working with raw data and data management with a strong background in Data Warehouses * Design, build, test and maintain data pipelines, data integration, ETL processes and data management delivery within an enterprise data lake and data warehouse environment within the Microsoft Azure Cloud Solutions * The client is looking for a Data Engineer, not a Cloud Engineer * Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure SQL database, ETL/ELT workflows, database concepts, Databricks and Expert in database concepts, including normalization, indexing, physical and logical modeling, creation of SQL queries and performance tuning (minimum of 3 years of experience); Open to AWS as well * PowerBI modeling * Familiarity with Azure fundamental terminologies and concepts * Familiarity with the Kimball methods of data warehousing techniques, standards, and best practices * Working knowledge of CI/CD tools using GitHub and Azure DevOps * Flexible, work with changing requirement (this is a foundational project), fun, good teamwork, open minded, agility of a personality Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
