Day-to-Day:

An enterprise insurance employer is looking for a Solutions Architect to join their application development team.

Responsibilities will include:

* Designing a scalable and compliant system architecture and integration of enterprise business systems.

* Communicating design roadmap and providing clear technical direction to other engineers and developers.

* Identifying and vetting third party technology products and services and submitting recommendations to key stakeholders.

* Establishing architecture goals and milestones ahead of agile teams to ensure project deadlines are being met.

Skills and Requirements

Must-haves:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline

* Experience leading multiple agile teams

* Able to perform fullstack development for proof of concepts and platform enablement using

o Backend: Java 11

o Frontend: React or Angular

* Experience architecting technological solutions using REST APIs, Microservices, and containerized workloads (Docker)

* Experienced at cloud-native architecture and design with AWS

* Experience explaining and recommending technical solutions in a way that is easy for stakeholders to understand. Plusses:

* MS Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline

*  Insurance Industry Knowledge

* Experience using React Native null
