This position is responsible for converting new customers from their previous payroll system to Paycom by completing the multi-step implementation process. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of each client’s first few payrolls post implementation.
Complete accurate and timely post-sale setup of each client’s various purchased products
Provide high quality customer service and support via phone and email to clients in regard to their setup and implementation
Participate in various setup milestone conference calls to ensure operational teams have an understanding of the clients stage of implementation
Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders of the implementation process to ensure a unified approach to fulfilling the clients’ setup
Communicate to clients the importance of data validation and first payroll preparation requirements to ensure accurate first payrolls
Process accurate and on-time payroll for clients based on their payroll processing schedule
Ensure documentation on client processes and notes are logged timely within Paycom CRM
Submit all sensitive data through appropriate Paycom platforms in accordance with Paycom Security Standards
Anticipate clients’ needs and assesses risk in areas such as labor compliance, payroll, taxes, etc.
Actively drives the company vision through the utilization of the Paycom solution
Follows up with internal and external partners to hold them accountable to project objectives and timelines
Stay abreast of product developments and system changes in order to apply them to implementations and answer associated client inquiries
Ensure implementation tasks are complete, the client intro meeting is successfully conducted, and all handoff requirements are met prior to a client’s transition to their Paycom Specialist
Inform management of area activities and escalate client issues as needed
Provide input for the development of department and company initiatives to support process and system improvements as needed
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably within a business-related field, or equivalent experience
Experience working in a client-facing role
Experience working in the Paycom system
Ability to manage a project plan
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Strong time management skills
Comfortable with various technology platforms
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team
Ability to effectively execute client meetings
Knowledge of the industry, product and processes
Computer skills in Windows and MS office and the ability to easily learn new applications.
Strong attention to detail and quality of work
Strong relationship building ability
Professional and clear communication through phone, email, and in person
Ability to prioritize objectives
