What’s the role?

We are seeking a talented product professional to take charge of a key digital brand portfolio at News Corp Australia. This is your chance to shape the future of the brand, driving exceptional user experiences for a large audience. This senior position requires a blend of product management, strategy development, detailed planning, business acumen and people management.

The Australian & Prestige (TAP) product portfolio informs Australia’s affluent and invested Australians by shaping the agenda in politics, business, national & world affairs and prestige lifestyle.

The Head of Product (TAP) is a pivotal role responsible for driving the vision, development, and execution of the TAP brands digital product portfolio - The Australian, Vogue, Vogue Living, GQ and Sky News. Reporting to the General Manager - Product, this role requires a deep understanding of the brands, their customers, user behaviour, and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Define and champion the long-term vision for all the TAP brands’ digital assets, ensuring it remains at the forefront of industry trends and user expectations.

  • Roadmap Development: Oversee the creation and execution of the TAP product brand roadmap, aligning it with brand and organisational strategies

  • Feature Prioritisation: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritise features that enhance user experience, engagement, and business goals.

  • Metrics Focus: Analyse product performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement

  • Innovation and Improvement: Continuously explore opportunities to enhance the products through innovation, ensuring it meets evolving consumer needs and market dynamics.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to align strategies, provide support, and drive innovation

  • Leadership: Manage small team of product managers

Who are you?

  • Senior product manager responsible for driving key digital products/platforms

  • Proven track record in delivering product roadmaps and continuous improvement

  • Focus on user experience and product excellence

  • Strong team-building skills and ability to influence multiple stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple company-wide goals and working with multiple teams at once

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to iterate a product over time via data analysis and user feedback

  • Flexible and adaptive with ability to make quick decisions and prioritise in a fast moving environment
