Job Summary

Compass Group, NA is seeking a Strategic Solutions Associate Director, who shares our values, wants to work with a team of great individuals, and who is committed to being part of our success. Reporting to a Vice President, Strategic Alliance Group (SAG), the Associate Director will support SAG and play a significant role in the retention of key accounts.

This position is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, retention focused individual seeking to grow into a Strategic Solutions Corporate Director role. The Strategic Solutions Associate Director will collaborate with the assigned Vice President, the SAG leadership team, Senior Directors, and Corporate Directors at every stage of the retention process, while learning all of the steps of the SAG process with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.

This position comes with a year-end bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the SAG Retention Management Solution (RMS) database

  • Conduct, type, distribute, and debrief Value Improvement Process Interviews (VIPIs) with select clients

  • Facilitate monthly updates for key accounts including hosting calls with operating partners and providing a written summary of the updates

  • Conduct extensive research on key accounts

  • In conjunction with your assigned Vice President and Senior Director/Corporate Director, conduct retention strategy sessions for key accounts, develop and support the execution of strategic action plans

  • Support proposal and presentation development in collaboration with internal subject-matter experts (site tours, creative proposal writing and development, pricing strategy and financial modeling, multi-media presentations, etc.)

  • Lead projects as assigned including developing task grids, assigning responsibilities, and following up to ensure timelines are met

  • Support the contracting process

  • Communicate effectively across the organization both horizontally and vertically.

  • Effectively partner with operating colleagues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

    • 5 years of management experience, preferably in a multi-unit leadership role and/or multiple discipline experience within the managed services industry
  • Ability to build and foster relationships with individuals at all levels both internally and externally

  • Ability to understand and analyze financials

  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, excel, etc.)

  • High energy, positive attitude

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills

  • Flexible and able to shift priorities with ease

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Resourceful and willing to take initiative to get things done

  • Excellent listening skills

  • A propensity for continual learning

Other Requirements

  • Desire and demonstrated ability to learn and grow with the goal of progressing to Compass Group Corporate Director Strategic Solutions

  • Willingness to relocate to open Corporate Director territory

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the territory
