As a Value Stream leader, you will focus on aligning activities and resources for your product focus area. Fresh approaches to problem-solving and opportunities for growth are created in times of change and you will be on the front lines as we push the boundaries of innovation and sustainability to build a better tomorrow.

You will guide a dedicated team working together to build the products that help our customers build a better world! Inside the 725,000 square-foot air-conditioned facility you will work with hourly production associates, engineers, and management to complete the daily build requirements.

As a Value Stream Leader Section Manager, you can expect to:

  • Support your team in achieving targets while ensuring their safety and overall well-being. Safety is your number one priority

  • Manage area for daily achievement of People, Quality, Velocity and Cost (PQVC) targets.

  • Define clear operational schedules, priorities, goals, and collaborate with functional management to allow for continuous manufacturing flow of fabricated, assembly and finished products. Monitor and report on factory metrics on a daily, weekly or monthly cadence.

  • Train and develop of staff, perform time keeping, estimate personnel needs, assign work, meet completion dates, and ensuring consistent application of organizational needs.

  • Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation through the deployment of the Lean methodology guiding the implementation of the Lean Execution Plan in your span of control.

  • Facilitate Small Business Team assigning resources to define and assist in identification of continuous improvement initiatives issues that are negatively impacting performance.

  • Although this is a second shift opportunity, the manufacturing environment can operate multiple shifts including weekend work. The successful candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fast-paced deadline focused environment.

The successful candidate must bring (Basic Qualifications) :

  • A high-school diploma, GED or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years of \manufacturing experience with at least 1 of those years in a leadership role.

  • Good human relations experience in developing cooperative relationships.

  • Experience working with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, EHS, Maintenance, or Logistics.

Top candidates will also bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Extensive knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems

  • Strong customer focus and ability to influence and lead hourly direct reports.

  • Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers.

  • Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office 365 products.

  • Experience with SAP.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret various types of data for make informed resolution

Other Considerations

  • 2nd Shift – Full Time

  • 3PM – 11PM, Monday through Friday

  • Overtime could range from 3PM – 1AM or 3PM – 3AM as business conditions dictate

  • Saturday overtime production hours are from 1PM – 9PM as business conditions dicta
