BCD Travel Production Housing Coordinator in Norfolk, Virginia

Production Housing Coordinator

Full-time, London, UK

The Production Housing Advisor is responsible for recommending preferred hotels and vendors, negotiating with industry suppliers and initial budgeting for assigned productions. The Production Housing Advisor is responsible for supporting and consulting clients around site selection, contract negotiation & execution, savings generation & documentation, and properly updating technology information, all in accordance with client processes and tools. Financial responsibilities include program benchmarking, cost savings negotiations tracking, invoice payment and accruals. Production Housing Advisors will commit to building and maintaining strong client relationships while providing best-in-class customer service.

Client needs you may require at times for you to assist with air, car, and hotel bookings. Experience with multiple GDS platforms is preferred.

A snapshot of this opportunity

  • Consult with client on best hotels or vendors based on budget, availability, goals, and objectives

  • Maintain professionalism when consulting travel for A-listers, VIPs, Talent, and Production Crew

  • Utilize and leverage client and BCD preferred hotel agreements when negotiating hotel contracts

  • Schedule and attend monthly supplier visits

  • Trouble shoot issues, propose solutions, and escalate to manager and client as needed

  • Manage amendments and cancellation requests efficiently

  • Proven excellent customer service provision and problem resolution skills

    How you can set yourself apart

  • You have experience working in the production or VIP field

  • You have minimum 3 years’ experience with purchasing or meeting planning

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • You have knowledge of accounting and payment processes

  • You have Travel industry and destination knowledge

  • You are proficient using appropriate GDS tools (i.e., Sabre)
