Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create, analyze and maintain explanatory/predictive Data Science models using healthcare data

  • Work includes all phases of the modelling process: Data Analysis, Exploratory Data Analysis, Research, Predictive Model design and solution, Models’ Development, Model Validation and Deployment

  • Work through the entire life cycle of a project from inception to implementation

  • Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise

  • Independent role with core ability to understand, develop and execute Data Science based projects

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Science tools and technologies (Python, etc.), solid programming and reporting with in-depth understanding of data storage structures

  • Excellent and in-depth working experience in Statistical modeling and predictive analytics using Machine Learning

  • Excellent and in-depth working knowledge of using Data Science tools and technologies

  • Working knowledge of PySpark and using same into Data Science Model development

  • Proficiency in extracting required data for analysis from source systems (proficiency in using SQL, Hive), data manipulation and data wrangling (Python / Numpy / Pandas, Spark, etc.)

  • Excellent communication, time / project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning projects

  • Experience in healthcare sector
