Santander US Capital Markets LLC Whole Loan Trader in New York, New York
Support and build out our U.S. loan trading processes, including pricing and analytics, competitive bids, acquisition, sale and securitization, risk and residential loan pricing modeling, and trade execution. Work with market and credit risk teams to improve simulation models and verify stress loss parameters related to the trading book. Run forecasting models and arbitrage analytics by building unique cashflow to compare against securitization economics. Oversee and liaise with middle office and operations on the infrastructure build-out associated with this nascent business. Execute complex risk models for trading activity, and ensure trades are within the trader mandate. Optimize the day to day oversight of the liability side/funding equation of the trading book which holds billions of dollars.Requirements:Bachelor’s in Computational Finance, Financial Engineering or Industrial Engineering (with concentration in Economic and Financial Systems), plus three years of experience in position offered or as whole loan trading associate or analyst at a bank or financial services firm.* *All required experience must have included managing whole loan trades lifecycle; performing trade surveillance and risk management; conducting mortgage analytics and pricing using Intex; performing regression and forecasting using R or Python, data analysis and manipulation using Python or SQL, cash flow and capital analysis, stochastic systems modeling, and data visualization with Tableau.FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses required.Position requires less than 10% domestic travel to meet with clients. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.#LI-DNI
