Facebook Program Manager, Tech Onboarding (Communications), Mission Control in New York, New York

We're looking for a Program Manager who is detail oriented, efficient, and a creative problem solver to manage strategic projects for our onboarding programs for technical new hires. This role features an emphasis on building our communication and engagement strategy. This Program Manager will be responsible for creating and executing data driven project plans to improve and develop programs and will collaborate closely with Analytics, Engineering, and cross-functional partners.

Required Skills:

  1. Own the Onboarding brand through the development of different resources and strategies

  2. Develop and own engagement strategies to ensure we are effectively communicating to our Program participants and stakeholders across all tools and platforms

  3. Build and manage frameworks, processes and central documentation of all communications to maintain operational consistency, scalability, and alignment across teams

  4. Work closely with Cross-functional Partners, Program Managers, and Communications Specialists to draft statements, messaging, and build proactive communications

  5. Collect, analyze and report data to drive improvements and iterate on programs

  6. Drive strategic initiatives to build and enhance our suite of programs, both independently and by managing contributions of stakeholders

  7. Manage and iterate a program to meet company level priorities

  8. Create, uphold, and communicate detailed project plans and status updates throughout all phases of project development

  9. Collaborate with engineering to implement tool improvements and efficiency

  10. Partner professionally and effectively with many areas of the company, including HR, Learning Operations, Learning & Development, Analytics and Analytics Leadership, Engineering and Engineering Leadership, Recruiting, AV, and Facilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. 5+ years program/project management experience

  3. Experience in communications, content design or similar field

  4. Background organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks while managing time

  5. Change management experience

  6. Experience drafting and producing content for a global, diverse audience via multiple channels

  7. Experience communicating to multiple levels of an organization

  8. Presentation skills

  9. Experience scaling programs

  10. Proficient in creating and sustaining relationships with both technical and non-technical people

  11. Analytical, detail-oriented problem solver

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or other business certifications

  2. Proven experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across time zones

  3. Experience collaborating with engineering and internal tool development

  4. Approachable, patient and willing to answer questions
