Sodexo Seniors is seeking a Multi-Service General Manager for it's operations at Eastview Senior Living in New York City . Eastview is an Independent Senior Living residence for individuals and couples ages 55 and older.This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned, entrepreneurial manager who is constantly seeking a better way to conduct business. This key leadership position is directly responsible for the successful operation of the Dining Services, Environmetal Services and Facilities Management operations. The General Manager ensures client, customer service/satisfaction with efficient cost-effective management that both meets and exceeds expectations.

The successful candidate will:

  • be responsible for the oversight of residential Dining services, Environmental Services and Facilities Management operations and teams;

  • work to develop and grow the business while managing and controlling operational costs and offering high quality service to our Clients and Residents;

  • have responsibility for full financial oversight of the account, including budgeting and reporting for all three services to achieve company and client financial targets and goals.;

  • provide technical training and expertise, coaching and leadership to the all onsite teams while working side by side in the operation as needed;

  • create a positive customer service driven environment, by driving employee engagement and customer satisfaction through strong leadership skill;

  • integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted advisor with a customer service focus;

  • ensure compliance to all safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety regulations and standards.

Position Summary

Functions as the leader for multiple core services, in a single account and/or multiple locations within the same contract. Single point of contact and/or client liaison in support of business that in total is between $5 and $10 million in managed volume.

Key Duties

  • Monitors operations by planned and unplanned visits to each operating account of the system to plan projects, implement new processes, client interactions, and new technology to ensure sufficient resources.

  • Develops business plan and budget w/each account GM that supports the System and District goals – Reviews and analyzes financial statements and data and other financial information to ensure attainment of financial goals for both the client and Sodexo.

  • Central Point of Contact for Client Liaison promoting a solid business partnership - assists in contract negotiations for the system.

  • Maintains Quality & Company Standards – reviews and maintains reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Sodexo / System Client(s) policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for system succession planning/employee development/diversity initiatives/training/constructive counseling. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.

  • Provides strategic leadership to the respective units within the system to maintain client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’sDegree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
