Aspen Capital Cybersecurity Analyst in New York, New York
Aspen Capital is in search of a Cyber Security Analyst to join our technology team. You will be responsible for building out security systems and controls to reduce the risks on data. We believe security should be enabled by default across the business. You will ensure that the flow of information across our ecosystem is safe and secure.
You will continue to improve Aspen Capital’s services around data deletion and encryption to exceed industry standards and norms. Partner with engineering teams to implement security improvements and provide security architecture guidance. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information Technology; Cyber Security is preferred
3+ years of experience working in a software company in a security engineering position either directly with development teams or in support of teams in addition to having experience with tools such as Qualys, SumoLogic, Sentry, Crowstrike, DLP, firewalls, endpoint protection, MDM, log correlation and packet analysis tools, among others.
Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Production security engineering experience in AWS and Azure environments
Working familiarity with NIST Cyber Security framework
Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000 USD per year
The base salary range represents the low and the high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education and performance. The range listed is just one component of the company's total compensation package for staff. Other rewards can include annual bonuses, stock awards and region-specific benefits
