Department Description

CIB Finance & Business Management provides financial and business management support to JPMC's Banking Technology Group, that partner with all lines of business (both internal and external) to deliver application technology solutions.

The Banking Technology Business Manager position partners with Payments Technology Chief Business Technologist (CBT) to drive strategic decisions impacting governance, priorities, budget, forecast, control, and overall direction of an increasingly growing and evolving group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the Group head to define, implement and track the Group's strategy and objectives, including the production of high quality and insightful materials to support the delivery of key messaging

  • Business governance including driving and coordinating the Group's management team agenda, business reviews, organization design & change initiatives

  • Governance and communication of all aspects of performance, including at town halls, off-sites, business reviews and for regulators

  • Develop collaborative working relationships across JPM's front office and technology finance & business management teams, providing consistent business value and transparency

  • Influence on business control agenda, in partnership with relevant control groups

  • External representation of the Group, both to regulators and industry bodies, as required

  • Coaching and mentoring team members
