Pfizer Senior Manager, Institutional Customer Marketing, Sterile Injectables Portfolio in New York City, New York

Pfizer's U.S. Hospital Sterile Injectables business collectively comprises over 200 products spanning more than 10 therapeutic areas, the broadest portfolio of sterile injectable medicines in the United States. Pfizer Hospital's generic sterile injectable products represent a critical part of the overall portfolio and play a major role in delivery of care across US Hospitals.

The Senior Manager, Institutional Customer Marketing, Sterile Injectables (SI) Portfolio is responsible for execution of marketing tactics for key generic products, as well as overall marketing of the US Hospital generic sterile injectables portfolio. This role's efforts will support the goal of raising awareness of the Pfizer Hospital brand and driving reputation and customer preference among key sterile injectable customer audiences including hospital pharmacy, nursing, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).

In this role, the colleague will partner with internal and agency team members to create and maintain product sales and marketing assets including product catalogs, product listings, sell sheets, digital content, and more; to manage development and execution of key aspects of Pfizer Hospital convention/congress presence; and to support internal trainings, materials and message development for the generics portfolio.

This role is part of the US Hospital Marketing and Communications Team, which supports the marketing and communications strategy for the US Hospital Sterile Injectables business. The role will involve partnering cross functionally with key stakeholders in Portfolio, Sales, Account Management, Medical, Legal, Regulatory and PGS, among others, as well as internal and external agency partners.

The Senior Manager, Institutional Customer Marketing, Platforms & Brands, reports directly to the Customer Marketing and Communications Lead.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This role will be responsible for driving tactical implementation and execution of marketing strategy supporting key generic products/presentations and the overall Pfizer Hospital sterile injectables portfolio.

  • Lead the development of generic sterile injectable sales tools and marketing assets-including Digital Sales Presentations (DSPs), Rep-Triggered Emails (RTEs), HQ Emails, Print Leave-Behinds, Digital Ads, and more.

  • Manage marketing development and approval processes and timelines, working closely with external agency partners and internal reviewers.

  • Support planning and execution of Pfizer Hospital convention/congress presence, including booth development, material development and printing, representative training, logistics planning and more.

  • Manage print resource utilization and distribution to support field force needs.

  • Prepare field force implementation guides and related resources to support customer-facing colleague use of marketing assets.

  • Maintain and update content on Pfizer Hospital's sterile injectable website product catalog, in partnership with agency and Pfizer development partners.

  • Monitor marketing tactical performance. Regularly solicit qualitative field force, customer and other key stakeholder input on marketing materials alongside quantitative key trends including utilization, customer engagement data, and industry/competitive trends to identify continuous improvement and optimization opportunities.

  • In collaboration with Medical colleagues, monitor USPI label changes and ensure appropriate and compliant updates to marketing resources on an as needed basis.

  • Effectively partner with Marketing and Communications colleagues to drive internal awareness and utilization of marketing assets and ensure effective and complimentary customer communication regarding generic product availability and supply status.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, or related area.

  • 7+ years' experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or sales.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience developing marketing assets and content; website management or development experience preferred.

  • Strong project management experience; track record of reliable and timely marketing planning and execution.

  • Demonstrated understanding of how marketing strategy and tactics advance business results.

  • Overall marketing skills including marketing strategy; customer targeting; tactical planning; marketing piece creation; digital advertising and social media; measurement and reporting. Experience working with agency partners preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare and biopharmaceuticals industries. Preferred knowledge of hospital generics / sterile injectables market. Preferred experience supporting sales teams (knowledge of sales tools, sales cycle, customer profiles, etc.).

  • Proven ability to work effectively and inclusively in teams with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders; influence, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, including presentation/PowerPoint skills.

  • Able to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple projects at once and maintain professionalism under pressure.

  • Proactive self-starter, and able to work independently. Team player. Entrepreneurial mindset.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.   • The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $105,500.00 to $175,900.00.
