Robert Half Customer Service Representative in New Orleans, Louisiana

Description

Customer Service Representatives who love building solid customer relationships will be interested in Robert Half 's new position, if they are interested in the growing Manufacturing industry. Articulate and highly-skilled candidates could find an excellent career opportunity in this Customer Service Representative position. This Customer Service Representative position is based in the New Orleans, Louisiana region and is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity. This position is for candidates who work well in a dynamic, rapidly-changing call center.

Major responsibilities

  • Receive and send written business correspondence

  • Through your success in the role, you will support business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers

  • Deliver outstanding, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

  • Handle incoming telephone calls

    Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience with performing in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred

  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

  • Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

  • Proven knowledge of account management

  • Shipping & receiving experience desired

  • Manage Vendor Relationships experience

  • Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Word

  • General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

  • Account management experience

  • CRM experience preferred

  • Strong familiarity with Superior Customer Service

  • Positive attitude and an approach to work rooted in professionalism

  • Demonstrated experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

  • Ability to exude confidence, knowledge, and empathy when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • Strong computer skills including customer database systems

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent customer service and office administrative skills
