Job Description

Supervises staff and assists in the planning, organization, and implementation of Client Services operations and procedures. Oversees the training, both initial and on-going of staff. Monitors the productivity and work quality of staff. Supports the efforts of management by ensuring all functions are completed in a timely manner.

  1. Develops workflow and monitors Client Services department metrics daily, to ensure productivity standards are maintained.

  2. Trains, disciplines and supervises staff. Evaluates performance and ensures appraisals are completed on a timely basis.

  3. Prioritizes, schedules, assigns and monitors work to optimize operational service.

  4. Meets daily with department management to provide updates.

  5. Provides assistance to CL departments. Makes recommendations regarding issues and service enhancements.

  6. Acts as liaison between clients and laboratory staff.

  7. Handles escalated calls.

  8. Demonstrates awareness of and compliance with HIPPA regulations.

  9. Promotes positive co-worker relationships, teamwork and cooperation, both within the department and across departmental lines. Works collaboratively and is respectful of others.

  10. Performs other duties, as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Knowledge of Customer Service, Marketing or related field as normally acquired through the completion of an Associate's degree.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of client service experience, required.

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Well organized and detail oriented. Creative problem solving skills.

Computer literate with basic keyboard skills. Ability to read, comprehend and carry-out protocols.
