Lumen’s internship program is a 10 week, fast-paced and exciting opportunity to gain professional experience within your field of study and career interest. Interns within the Strategic Enterprise and Public Sector organization will be part of an accelerated learning experience, to challenge skills learned in the classroom and develop new skills while working on active Lumen work projects. This division is responsible for overseeing the corporate marketing as it directly relates to enhancing Lumen’s selling capabilities. Intern will assist with marketing analytics, basic segmentation/target market identification, aid in construction of launch programs & partner with Field Marketing Managers on execution. The internship will take place in Broomfield, CO, Minneapolis, MN or another of other cities (listed at bottom of this requisition). In addition, interns will connect to our company culture through community outreach projects, engage with our employee resource groups and be able to develop their professional skills and business acumen through frequent exposure to senior leadership, cutting-edge technology, groundbreaking projects, and a network of mentors and fellow interns. • Partner with Field Marketing Managers to support sellers in the Business to Business sales organization • Assist with marketing analytics • Basic segmentation/target market identification• Aid in construction of launch programs from Lumen Marketing team to share with sales team
Minimum Requirements:• Pursing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or sales related area • Classification: entering Junior or senior status at start of internship.• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college (graduating after August 2021).• Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred.• Must have transportation to/from work daily.• Must be available to work 30 – 40 hours, during the specified 10-week timeframe.• Must possess excellent analytical and communication skills. • Attention to Detail• Able to Present & Communicate in Larger Forums
Additionally, these items are a plus:• Any Sales or Retail Experience • Early Marketing and/or Communication Experience (On Campus or other internships)• Designing Proficient (Adobe or equivalent)• Prefer candidate to share a communication/written portfolio; not required but preferred• Energetic and positive attitude required.
