Manager of Facilities - Medical City North Hills
Plans, organizes, directs and controls operations of the Engineering, BioMed, and Security Departments. The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric and pediatric patients. The attached criteria based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as they relate to age specific competency.
Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards and codes and standards related to the statement of conditions the candidate must maintain current knowledge of hospital physical plant and building structures and knowledge of fire codes, and membership in ASHE or other organizations that support the hospital environment of care.
Medical City North Hills We opened on Sunday, May 7, 1961 as Glenview Hospital. The current facility at 4401 Booth Callaway Road was opened in 1983 and renamed Medical City North Hills. Medical City North Hills has 164 beds and is a Level IV Trauma Center. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * At least 3 years in the healthcare environment and design and construction experience is preferable. * Environment of Care / Emergency Management background and knowledge. * Good understanding of hospital environment process, as well as equipment and its impact upon facility is preferred. * The incumbent is required to demonstrate strong leadership abilities and success in project planning. * At least three years demonstrated success in management to include Joint Commission Environment of Care Standards, management of personnel, project budgets. * Demonstrated successful implementation of customer service, teambuilding, and PI programs and/or processes. * A good sense of ownership and mission, political awareness, relationship development, strategic influence, interpersonal assessments, and action orientation. * Strong ability to communicate accurately both verbally and in writing, including high-level presentation and exhibits. * Highly skilled with project tracking mechanisms, including MS Project, Window Office, and Auto CAD application is preferred.
