The Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, EMEA Renewals who has deep experience in support of Sales. The ideal candidate will have worked in fast paced organizations with rapid growth and experience managing Renewals personnel working with enterprise level customers.

A strong understanding of enterprise software selling processes is preferred. The ideal candidates must be able to recruit, hire and manage top level Renewal Account Managers, partner with multiple Sales leaders and develop/manage key processes in support of the customer renewal process.

Renewals are the life blood of a SaaS company’s revenue stream and the Renewals leader must be able to both focus on the achievement of renewals targets while keeping a strong teaming approach in their engagement with EMEA Account Sales teams in select EMEA countries. This role reports to the Director of Renewals for EMEA.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Hire, retain and lead a team of seasoned Renewal Account Managers

  • Manage our renewal process to maximize revenue growth for ServiceNow and to achieve our sales/revenue goals for the select EMEA regions (Germany, UKI, Benelux, Nordics, Germany)

  • Partner with EMEA Sales to drive strategy and results for the Sales organization as related to renewals

  • Create and deliver summaries of key performance metrics that help the Sales organization focus on renewals execution, customer success and account planning for the renewal

  • Establish effective analysis of trends and performance to identify greater efficiencies

  • Work closely with our Professional Services and Alliances/Channels team to drive growth and expansion via our partners

  • Assist Sales or Renewal Account Managers with renewals negotiations

  • Lead cross functional initiatives in support of renewals and collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance

  • Some travel will be required

To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Renewals, Sales and/or Customer Success – preferably in SaaS environment

  • Strong Executive presence and presentation skills

  • Works well across the business, both internally and externally

  • Strong financial/analytical background with an operational mindset

  • Experience scaling teams in a hyper-growth environment

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Demonstrated focus on execution against desired outcomes and willingness to roll-up his/her sleeves to help the team succeed

  • Growth mindset – willing and able to learn and grow as we expand the team

  • Fluency in German
