The Customer Experience Account Executive (AE) is responsible for selling the world's best Customer Engagement software suite to Indian customers. Your top priority is to position SAP Cloud solutions to help organizations improve the way they market, sell to and service their customers.

  • Results driven - You will focus your energy on high return and profitable opportunities. You will execute against a plan, adjusting appropriately as the climate dictates. Motivating others and understanding how to effectively utilize resources to achieve your end state vision is essential, as is tenacity and a high level of comfort prospecting.

  • Problem solver - Your primary objective is to identify new customer opportunities by recognizing challenges that you can help solve. You will utilize knowledge of best practices and trends to position SAP as a trusted advisor and critical business partner. Perseverance in the face of adversity is critical.

  • Communication - You will develop a deep understanding of the customers' needs through effective questioning and listening skills. You will deliver clear, concise presentations with enthusiasm and passion, demonstrating knowledge of SAP solitons and services. By restates main concepts and gaining agreement from customers on actionable next steps you will ensure alignment with all stakeholders and consistently advance a sale.

  • Engagement with C-level Executives - You must be adept at gaining access to senior managers by proving your relevance. You will skillfully interact with decision makers, including C-level executives while demonstrating responsible decision making in stressful or unexpected situations.

  • Solution & domain knowledge - You must quickly develop a broad and solid understanding of the key CX solutions so that you may articulate the business value of each with customers. Your ability to actively demonstrate knowledge of competition and domain to proactively position SAP CX against competitive forces is essential.

  • Negotiation - You will be professional under pressure and demonstrates responsible decision making in stressful or unexpected situations. Conflict should be resolved in ways that create value and leads to new opportunities. You will seek to understand the roles of all parties involved in a negotiation and anticipate their tactics, motivations, sensitivities and intentions. Business decisions will be based on experience, wisdom, and thorough understanding of the situation. You will gain confidence by being trustworthy.

  • Relationships - You will build effective relationships with your peers, managers and co-workers across the entire SAP Enterprise. Your communications will be timely and considerate. You will strive to be a valued member of every team engagement.


  • Works with the Sales Manager and team to develop and execute programs to drive pipeline & close deals.

  • Works with the Regional VAT to educate target accounts on the solution set and conducts account planning for strategic deals.

  • Works to uncover and run sales cycles-based opportunities as directed by the Regional Sales Lead.

  • Works with VAT team on sales campaigns.

  • Works to attain various sales objectives related to securing new business opportunities within named customers.

  • Develops sales best practices securing repeatable and expansive opportunities across named accounts


  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology)

  • Strong experience in CX domain

  • 8 to 11 yrs of industry experience is a must.
