Abbott Assistant Manager EHS in Mumbai, India
Make sure that site is fully compliant with EHS local legal requirements and Abbott’s corporate & divisional EHS standards.
· Guide site to prepare for the EHS audits and help to close out findings/observations.
· Communicate the division’s strategic EHS objectives and secure with site management an agreement on these objectives and the resources necessary to meet the objectives and goals.
· Monitor and report EHS data (i.e., accident and injury statistics, waste volumes, emission data) and report deviation from the targets.
· Closely monitor performance of ETP/STP/UF/RO, APC devices, Fire hydrant and detection systems and report for any deviations.
· Regularly conduct EHS audits/inspections/reviews and provide appropriate technical guidance and training for personnel.
· Develop employee training for use on assigned high-risk EHS initiatives (e.g. contractor safety).
· Ensure EHS reviews during product transfers and new product development.
· Evaluate energy management practices to promote green energy and reduce CO2 emissions.
- Ensure all EHS records and documents are properly maintained and updated
Education
Bachelors in Pharma/Science/Engineering preferred
Advanced diplomas/certification on EHS (ADIS/PDIS)
Experience
• 2 – 4 years, preferably in Pharma/Chemical manufacturing
