Actalent Controls Engineer- Hiring Now! in Monroe, Wisconsin
The Automation Controls Engineer will work on the construction of new robotic automation projects, as well as, travel to customer sites to work on existing equipment. Majority of their projects are in the food industry, but their projects are also general consumer package goods. 80% of the day will be programming. 20% of the day will be spent troubleshooting. For the more junior candidates, or those lacking this experience, they would put them in a rotation in which they would travel to customers to see their machines in the field and understand how they are utilized. Both over the phone trouble-shooting and travel to offsite locations are required. There will be up to 25% travel; locations would be North America – vast majority in the US, maybe some Mexico, maybe some Canada.
