Responsibilities

• Research and analyze all payments related to railcar capitalized improvements.

• Prepare monthly reporting and journal entries for railcar capitalized improvements.

• Calculate and update depreciation for capitalized expenses in the lease accounting system.

• Support end to end Operating Risk Loss process.

• Provide support to accounting and research open items on general ledger account reconciliations.

• Assist with operating expense analysis and monthly reporting.

• Prepare monthly Key Indicator report from multiple data points across Rail. Lead monthly meeting with Rail President highlighting key metrics.

• Maintain Rail Policy and Procedure Sharepoint.

  Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance AND 2+ years’ experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis

• Microsoft Excel
