Honeywell Advanced Software Engineer- Commercial Navigation in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Aerospace – Sensing Guidance and Navigation. You will be instrumental in designing, planning and coordinating work teams, as well as providing technical support. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities. You will interface and exchange with internal and external customers, vendors and suppliers throughout the lifecycle of the product.

Key Responsibilities

· Requirements, design, architecture, implementation, integration

· Real-time embedded software development proficiency

· Verification and Validation

· High-rigor Certification (DO-178B/C, MAP-C, etc.)

· Analytical skills & software development skills

· Feature Definition and Design Tradeoffs

· Customer Technical Interaction

· Assisting in Program Estimation, Planning, Earned Value Tracking

YOU MUST HAVE

· Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace

· 3+ years experience with RM tools (DOORS, etc.) or concepts

· 3+ years of embedded software development or verification experience

· Significant interest or experience in high-rigor software development (aerospace, medical devices, automotive)

· Must be U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements

· Must be eligible for security clearance due to contractual requirements.
