The Opportunity
FCA is seeking a Program Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven, diverse, and forward-thinking team!
The Program Coordinator provides support, guidance and supervision to Family Center Respite Staff, Family Center Family Support Supervisor, and HCBS Services Staff. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that program capacity is maintained, and program documentation is adhering to state and county guidelines.
More specifically, the responsibilities and qualifications of the position include:
Responsibilities
Train, supervise and support FCN Family Support Services Supervisor and provide oversight for FCN Family Support program.
Act as a liaison with the county for FCN Family Support and Respite programs as well as assist director in completing state reports and audits.
Complete all screening, interviewing and paperwork regarding hiring FCN respite and HCBS program staff.
Conduct training of all respite and services staff and ensure compliance with all training mandates.
Conduct ongoing recruiting of respite and services staff.
Conduct group supervision/training of respite and services staff.
Track and monitor all data/information required by state and county
Complete and track authorizations for HCBS services and coordinate with MCO's and FCA billing department as needed.
Review paperwork for accuracy, policy adherence, and to identify and assess areas of concern in the case.
Ensure all documentation for billable services is complete and accurate and work with the billing department and services staff to address any deficiencies or issues needing resolution.
Attend state webinars and meetings as indicated.
Carry a small caseload as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in social work and/or related human service field with 4 years of Human Services experience working with youth, or Master's Degree in Human Services related field with 1 year experience working in human services with youth.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and Word. Basic knowledge of Excel
Ability to use good judgement in problem solving
Valid New York State Driver's License

Additional Information
Salary: $56,000-58,500
Schedule: Monday-Friday
This role is full-time (35 hours/week), Exempt.
